DOOR FRAM METAL DETECTORS (DFMD)

They will detect metallic objects on people passing through the detector, such as knives, weapons etc.

Their level of detection sensitivity can be adjusted to meet varying threats. These are available with different numbers of detection zones, i.e. 1, 2, 6, 12, 18 and 33 zones, the greater number of detection’s zones the more accurate the location of metallic object on the person can be determined, saving operator time.

When a metallic item is detected an indication is normally given by a sounder, most detectors will also operate in a silent vibrating mode.
